In addition to our study of World War II in Social Studies, in English Language Arts, students are now learning about the Holocaust. As we know, this is a very difficult topic to study and discuss.
Students have been encouraged to discuss any questions or concerns they may have regarding this study. Thank you in advance for your at-home support.Later this week, each student will choose a Holocaust related novel to read independently.
To compliment this reading, we will also be studying a timeline of events and laws that led to the Holocaust.
In addition, each student will get to follow the journey of a real individual throughout this time period, learning what their life was like during these years.
